Outdoor Lights Patio Party
There is nothing quite like an evening outdoor barbeque or fiesta. Picture it now. Friends chatting while they dunk nachos in a tub of salsa… sip frosty daiquiris through spiraled straws sprouting neon umbrellas. If the scene sounds inviting, you’ll absolutely love the idea of an outdoor lights patio party.
Shove aside ideas of squinting to see your friends in the dark. No, you don’t want to simply turn on the porch light. An outdoor lights patio party is festive and fun. Your patio area won’t just be functional with tables and a place to sit and eat. It will be a showplace, illuminated and beautiful.
Creating an outdoor lights patio party doesn’t have to be difficult or outrageously expensive. You can design yours to be as elaborate or as simple as you wish. Some people purchase rope light, accent lights connected together in a tube rather than individual features. Rope light is made up of tiny, ½ watt bulbs spaced apart and encased in a flexible tube. These can be hung above your head. They can be used to adorn your deck or any of your patio area, providing subtle yet festive lighting solutions.Outdoor Lights Patio Party
These maintenance free lights can last for years. You can jazz up many more outdoor parties to come. Other ideas for creating an outdoor lights patio party are by incorporating LED umbrella table lights. If you have a patio table boasting an umbrella, it can be transformed as a luminous centerpiece for your party. LED lights emit narrow spectrums of light, creating “electroluminescence”. They are durable, almost impossible to break, and last for a long time.
Your outdoor lights patio party should reflect your own personal tastes. If rope lights or umbrella lights aren’t what you’re looking for, there are endless other lighting options. Talk with an expert or browse the selections online. Find out what works for you!

Flash Or Natural Lighting For Outdoor Portraits?
Tue, 20 Jul 2010 21:44:30 GMT
I'm planning on shooting senior portraits for my friends, I was wondering if i should buy a flash or just bounce/diffuse the natural light. If I don't get a flash/accessories for it, I would probably end up getting another lens, but I'm not sure about which one yet..so any suggestions for that would be helpful as well =] I have a Canon 50d, 28-135mm kit lens, 50mm 1.8, and 17-50mm 2.8 (but i probably wouldn't use that for portraits). Thanks!
