build it and ask me when the time comes.no problem.Oh ya the wind turbine lights are just hooked to the output wires without rectification. They are running on AC volts. So no wiring for this project, just hookem up.MUDDy

yea I saw that :) I'm looking to build a couple of those, I have the ceiling fans, I just need to get at it. I'm pretty good at building so the windmill itself I'm not worried about, I don't know if I can figure out the electrical part. I'd probably burn something up

I'm sorry about the noise. I forgot about telling you what the noise is. the rattling you here is the pipe inside the tower pole.I need to put a rubber bushing on the end of it. The blades never come closer than 1 foot from the pole. thats about 25.5 cm clearance. But you are right, I realy need to get the darn thing quiet. I tend to ignore it because I've gotten used to it I guess. It will take about 20 minutes and 2 people to do it. It might make a good video. lolMUDDy

I just left a little slack and check it every few days. if it is wrapped around it i just climbe up and turn the turbine around.I leave the ladder up. its like stairs the way it sits, and it takes about 2 minutes to do. i usually dont have to untwist it for about 2 weeks at a time.MUDDy
